Wildlife & Landscapes, Rooted in Tennessee
I photograph the wild corners of East Tennessee at first light: ridgelines, hidden waterfalls, and whitetails moving through the fog. It's where nearly all of my work begins, though now and then a trip takes me somewhere new. Nearly every print is a place I stood before sunrise and loved every minute.
Every image is available as a fine-art print that's ready to hang, ranging in size from small prints for a quiet corner to gallery pieces that hold a room. If you have a question about a piece, or you want help choosing a size for your space, please reach out.

A quiet waterfall in the East Tennessee backcountry that was caught in soft morning light on a long exposure.
The view from Kuwohi, the highest point in the Smokies, as a sea of clouds fills the valleys below at first light. Long known as Clingmans Dome, the peak carries its restored Cherokee name, meaning “mulberry place.”
A still morning in Cades Cove, fog drifting through the tree line as the sun climbs over the ridge. This is why people get there before dawn.
The sun rises over Amelia Island, Florida, on a quiet morning where the dunes give way to open water. It's a long way from the mountains, but it's worth the trip.
